Increasing students' confidence in speaking activities

My experience
I conducted my Action research as part of the Regional AR project. Some of my students often struggle to speak  and to express their opinion so I decided to conduct research on the problem of speaking. At first I conducted a survey in order to collect data about my students speaking preferences and challenges. Then I explored and applyed different approaches and strategies that could  help my student to speak confidently. Especially I tryed those in pair and group work. During the research I found out the advantages and disadvantages of these strategies. Some of them I used before the AR. But this time I used AI to make my work more effective to enhance student's speaking skills. I prepared supporting materials and encouraged students to help each other, to give positive comments. It made a change a little. All in all I made a conclusion that I had to pay attention to all types of language skills. AR project really helped me to understand the importance of researching work in teaching.
