Using Task-Based Learning to Master Conditional Sentences

On January 30, 2026, a professional development seminar was held at KGU Secondary School No. 19 with colleagues from the city of Aksu and teachers of School No. 19.

As part of the seminar, a research project in the format of Action Research was presented. The participants conducted an open lesson and defended a presentation based on the results of the research carried out.

The aim of the project was to improve teachers’ professional skills in teaching English, to study classroom learning activities through a research-based approach, to determine the effectiveness of various teaching methods and techniques, and to develop students’ language skills. During the project, British Council resources were actively used, contributing to the implementation of modern and effective teaching practices.
